Terms & Conditions
These terms apply when you order an assessment from Crystal Myths (UK) Ltd through crystalmyths.uk or by email. Ordering means you accept them.
What we provide
A written identification assessment of the crystal or natural stone specimen shown in the photographs you supply. Our assessment is a documented visual opinion based on your photographs and descriptions. It is not a laboratory analysis, a gemmological certification, a valuation for insurance, and it cannot guarantee what an unphotographed interior of a stone contains.
Orders and payment
Prices are shown in euros on the website. Payment is taken in full at ordering through Stripe or PayPal. Your order is confirmed once we receive your photographs; if photographs are not received within 60 days of payment we will contact you once and then treat the order as withdrawn (see Cancellation below).
What we need from you
Photographs must show the whole specimen, plus at least one close-up and, where possible, one image on a plain white background. Sharp, daylight-lit images give the best results. If photographs are unusable we will tell you what to retake at no extra charge.
Delivery
Your written assessment is sent to the email address on the order within 5 working days of receiving usable photographs, for a single assessment. Multi-item packages are delivered on the same schedule per batch. Bank holidays in the United Kingdom may add a day.
If you disagree with an assessment
Tell us within 30 days. One review of the same photographs is included free — a second reviewer looks at the file and we reply with the outcome in writing. A follow-up assessment of new or better photographs is charged at the follow-up rate shown on the pricing page.
Cancellation
You may cancel before we have sent your assessment for a full refund. If work has started we refund the unused portion at our discretion. Statutory cancellation rights for digital services apply; by ordering you ask us to begin the work immediately and acknowledge that, once the assessment has been sent, the right to cancel does not carry a refund.
Liability
We provide assessments with reasonable skill and care but reliance on them for purchase, sale, insurance or scientific decisions is at your own risk. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under English law. Our total liability is limited to the fee you paid for the assessment concerned.
